Christine, middle child of Steven and Joanna Naclerio, grew up in sunny Miami, Florida always dreaming of living in cooler climates and meeting a nice nerdy boy that could make her laugh. She got her wish, and a crash course in upstate NY winters, when Colgate accepted her into their class of 2005.
Eric, the oldest son, of Carey and Nancy Koleda, grew up in the sleepy Long Island town of Medford, NY and spent his time programming computers and being nervous around girls. He also was accepted to the Colgate class of 2005, and decided in addition to programming computers he would apply his love of technology to a unique extracurricular activity.
Christine and Eric met, one fateful evening, at the Colgate University Television station. Both had started out doing graphics for different shows. Christine’s show, “The World Matters” was having a big episode on this particular night, and station manager Tom Bowles decided to call in Eric to do graphics instead. Christine, extremely angered by this, decided quickly that she did not like Eric. But no one can dislike Eric for more than ten seconds, and later that year when Tom Bowles decided to put them both on the Executive Board, they bonded over their love of computers, television, and making fun of Tom Bowles. They were fast friends.
Two years later, Eric worked up the courage to ask Christine out (over AOL Instant Messanger) and they have been happy ever since. Eric continues his love of computers by working for a little software company called “Google”. Christine decided to stick with television and just started a job at HBO. They live in Park Slope, Brooklyn and can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
